Prime Minister Modi Leads Response Efforts in Cyclone-Hit Northeastern States

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took charge in leading the response efforts to address the aftermath of Cyclone Remal, which wreaked havoc across several northeastern states earlier this week. Chairing a high-level meeting, the Prime Minister spearheaded discussions aimed at evaluating the extent of damage caused by the cyclone and formulating a comprehensive strategy for relief and rehabilitation.

The cyclone, which made landfall with destructive force, inflicted widespread damage, disrupting normal life and causing substantial loss of property and infrastructure. Expressing deep concern over the situation, Prime Minister Modi assured affected states of full support from the central government in their efforts to cope with the aftermath of the calamity.

He also commended the resilience exhibited by the people of the northeastern states in confronting the challenges posed by the cyclone.

Participating Chief Ministers from the affected states joined the meeting via video conferencing, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration in the response efforts. This inclusive approach underscored the collective determination to address the immediate needs of affected communities and expedite the process of recovery and reconstruction.

Prime Minister Modi’s proactive leadership in the wake of Cyclone Remal underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and safety of its citizens.
