Bengaluru – BJP leaders in Bengaluru have staged a protest against the state government, alleging corruption in the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. The leaders are demanding the resignation of the Scheduled Tribes Welfare Minister, B. Nagendra.

The protest comes in the wake of allegations of corruption within the corporation, which is tasked with the development of the Scheduled Tribes in Karnataka. The BJP leaders claim that the welfare of the community is being compromised due to the alleged corruption.

The leaders have called for a thorough investigation into the matter and are demanding the immediate resignation of Minister B. Nagendra. They argue that his continuation in the office could potentially hinder the investigation and the delivery of justice.

The state government has yet to respond to the allegations and the demand for the minister’s resignation. The protest by the BJP leaders has intensified the political atmosphere in the state, with the opposition parties also likely to join the chorus against the alleged corruption.

The development has put the spotlight on the functioning of the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation and the state’s commitment to the welfare of the Scheduled Tribes. It remains to be seen how the state government will address the allegations and the growing dissent.
