PM Modi Reiterates 9 Life Resolutions at Acharya Shri Vidyanand Ji Maharaj’s Centenary Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 100th birth anniversary celebration of Acharya Shri Vidyanand Ji Maharaj in New Delhi, where he paid tribute to the revered Jain spiritual leader and reiterated nine life resolutions inspired by the Acharya’s teachings.

Speaking at the event, PM Modi emphasized the importance of values-driven living and said that the life and message of Acharya Vidyanand Ji Maharaj provide deep inspiration in building a morally conscious and socially responsible India. The Prime Minister outlined nine resolutions that reflect both individual commitment and national priorities, including:

  • Water conservation
  • Protecting the environment
  • Serving the poor and underprivileged
  • Promoting cleanliness and hygiene
  • Empowering women
  • Fostering peace and unity
  • Encouraging education and knowledge
  • Living a life of restraint and simplicity
  • Upholding truth and non-violence

“These are not just principles of a saint’s life but a roadmap for every citizen who wishes to contribute to Viksit Bharat (Developed India) 2047,” PM Modi said.

He noted that the Acharya’s life was dedicated to non-violence, truth, and service, and his centenary is an opportunity to revive ancient wisdom in the context of modern development challenges.

The Prime Minister concluded by urging citizens, especially the youth, to integrate these values into their daily lives, underscoring that spiritual strength and national progress go hand in hand.
