Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra and Party Workers Detained During Protest Over MUDA Irregularities

Bengaluru, Karnataka – Tensions escalated today as Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra, along with party workers and leaders, were detained by state police during a protest against alleged irregularities within the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

The protest, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bengaluru, aimed to highlight and denounce what the party claims are irregular practices within MUDA, impacting developmental projects and public welfare initiatives in Mysuru and surrounding areas.

According to reports, Vijayendra and several BJP leaders were taken into custody by Karnataka police as they gathered to voice concerns over purported mismanagement and financial improprieties within the state-run urban development authority. The BJP has accused the Karnataka state government of failing to address these issues adequately, leading to adverse consequences for local residents and stakeholders.
