Karnataka BJP President, BY Vijayendra, addressed concerns regarding the ongoing internal issues within the party, stating that once the BJP’s infighting is resolved, the Congress party will soon face similar struggles. Speaking to the media, Vijayendra reassured BJP supporters, emphasizing that the party’s national leadership was actively addressing the internal challenges and would take appropriate decisions to resolve the situation.
“Once the infighting within the BJP ends, which will happen in the next few days, infighting will start in the Congress party. Mark my words,” Vijayendra remarked, alluding to the ongoing tensions within Congress. He emphasized that, despite the current internal challenges, the BJP’s central leadership was closely monitoring the situation and would act accordingly to maintain party unity.
Vijayendra also acknowledged the internal issues within the BJP, but stressed that the national high command was taking the matter seriously. “As far as the BJP is concerned, whatever internal issues are there, our party’s high command, our national leadership have taken serious note,” he stated, signaling confidence that the leadership at the national level would swiftly address the concerns.
“The ball is in the court of the national high command,” Vijayendra added, suggesting that any decision regarding the party’s future course of action will be made by the party’s top leadership. His comments come at a time when there has been speculation about tensions within the BJP in Karnataka, especially after a few party leaders, including Basangouda Patil Yatnal, voiced their concerns regarding the party’s strategies and leadership.
While Vijayendra’s statement was aimed at assuring party members and supporters that the BJP would soon overcome its internal issues, it also highlighted the party’s belief that such challenges are temporary and that the national leadership has the situation under control.
