BJP President BY Vijayendra Criticizes CM Siddaramaiah’s Statement on Terrorist Attacks

Date:

Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra sharply criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s recent comments on the terrorist attacks that rocked the country. Vijayendra described Siddaramaiah’s statement as “foolish,” highlighting the unity among the nation’s political leadership in condemning terrorism. He pointed out that while senior Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor had supported the central government’s efforts to take action against terrorist organizations and their state sponsors, Siddaramaiah’s remarks were unacceptable.

Vijayendra further questioned whether CM Siddaramaiah and Minister RB Timmapur had seen the disturbing video footage of the attack, suggesting that if they had, they would not have made such remarks. He called their statements unfortunate, especially at a time when the country needed to stand united against terrorism. The BJP leader made it clear that any comments that appeared to support Pakistan, either directly or indirectly, were deeply problematic and would not be tolerated. The comments reflect the growing tensions in Karnataka’s political landscape, as BJP leaders continue to criticize their Congress counterparts over their handling of national security issues.
