In a post on X, PM Modi said he received a call from President Trump, during which both leaders reviewed progress in India-US cooperation across multiple sectors.

The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, covering key areas such as:

Discussion on West Asia and Global Stability

The leaders also exchanged views on the situation in West Asia, emphasizing the importance of peace and stability in the region.

Both sides highlighted the strategic significance of the Strait of Hormuz and stressed the need to keep it open and secure, given its critical role in global energy supplies and international trade.
